Is De Carli Racing exchanging KTM for GasGas?
We are still waiting for the press release, but everything indicates that Claudio De Carli's Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team will compete on GasGas from 2022. Speedweek journalist Günther Wiesinger also confirmed this information after an interview with KTM top guys.
Wiesinger spoke during the MotoGP of Spielberg with KTM CEO Stefan Pierer, motorsport director Pit Beirer and advisor Heinz Kinigadner. Both Jorge Prado (MXGP) and Mattia Guadagnini (MX2) will continue to race for the Italian team. Kinigardner debunked rumors that Prado would leave in the same article. After all, the Spaniard is still under contract until 2025.
The future of Tony Cairoli is not yet clear, but the nine-time world champion can choose. If he wants to keep driving there is room for him!
