Disappointed but bad luck was faster today
In recent weeks Dean Gregoire has been busy with the FIM Junior World Championship 65cc. The knee problems were treated intensively with the aim of the competition in Greece. The speed in the warm Megalopolis was good but the bad luck devil was faster. The 10-year-old rider only finished the first heat. The victory went to the Hungarian Aron Katona who won both heats.
Time training:
On Saturday the free practice sessions were followed by qualifying. The KTM rider steers his SX65 in a controlled manner over the concrete hard circuit and manages to set the second fastest time. It is very warm so it promises to be a tough competition day. Dean feels good but is especially looking forward to it!
1e some
The start is not that good and he starts the race outside the top ten. From eleventh place he burst into the top ten to finish fourth in the first round. Then he is too eager for a moment on the hard surface and slides Dean down. However, starting the engine is not possible and a lot of time is wasted! From outside the top 25, Dean comes back very strong and when he arrives in seventh place he looks at the back of the group that is fighting for fourth place. That gives an extra boost, but two small sliders cause delays. Dean is not satisfied with eleventh place, but there are still opportunities to end the event well with a strong second round.

Dean also gets off to a good start in the second heat, but again things go wrong. A number of riders crash and the Alpinestars-clad rider crashes. He wants to move on quickly, but then he sees the motorcycle. It has taken quite a beating, the radiator is leaking and the clutch cable is broken. The race is over and Dean returns to the riders' quarters very disappointed.
