Team Belgium announced for the ISDE
The global high mass of enduro is fast approaching! The ISDE (Six Days) will take place in Lombardy-Piedmont (Italy) from August 30 to September 4. Following his MXoN colleague Johan Boonen, team manager Philippe Rorive announced his selection today.
Two years ago, the Belgian team achieved a strong result during the ISDE in Portugal. Led by Antoine Magain, Belgium finished a brilliant fifth in the Junior Trophy, while the Belgians finished tenth in the World Trophy. Moreover, Team Belgium was rewarded with the “Watling Trophy” for the most improved country!
For this edition, Rorive has to make do without strongman Magain. The Sherco factory rider was injured on both wrists during the Swedish EnduroGP round. Yet there is still more than enough to look forward to in Italy.
Erik Willems showed off his calling card during the previous Six Days with a very good performance. This year, World Cup Open 4S Champion Dietger Damiaens makes his ISDE debut. In addition, we are also looking forward to a super motivated Junior Team with Henson Lievens, Dante Nijs and Mika Vanderheyden.
