MX Keiheuvel: Vialle for Geerts in MX2 opener!
Jago Geerts took the gang in tow with Tom Vialle on his wheel. Rick Elzinga and Rene Hofer also had a good start. Vialle soon took command and would also dictate the pace until the end.
Geerts, loudly encouraged by his supporters, certainly had the prospect of more, but Vialle showed himself to be a little more eager. A deserved victory for the reigning MX2 world champion.
After a strong match, Liam Everts defeated Jed Beaton, Rene Hofer and Rick Elzinga in succession. The battle for third place was fiercely fought, but Liamski still took third place! Ivano Van Erp rode an excellent race on about 125cc among the four-strokes. The Dutch MJC YAmaha rider finished seventh.
Brent Aerden, already the fastest 'amateur' this morning, distinguished himself as the best VLM rider in P11.
