Lucas Coenen wins, Sacha Coenen 2nd in French championship
Lucas and Sacha Coenen (9MM Bud Racing Kawasaki) continue their winning streak in the French 125cc championship. During both heats in Romagné, the fourth round of the 24MX Tour, Lucas Coenen was fastest ahead of his twin brother Sacha.
No Xavier Cazal, nor Nicolas Duhamel in Romagné. After all, both boys were in Greece for the Junior World Cup, while the Coenen brothers from the Belgian side were the major absentees in Megalopolis.
The holeshot in series one went to the reigning French 85cc champion Sacha Coenen. Nevertheless, Lucas prevailed in the final laps and won by 8 seconds. The top 5 was completed by Adrien Petit, Toni Giorgessi and Kilian Vincent. However, Petit benefited from the declassification of Alexis Fueri, who was put back 5 places.
The second moto was again dominated by the 9MM Bud Racing Kawasaki Belgians. Lucas now won with a 23 second lead over Sacha Coenen. Lucas consolidates his leading position in the standings. Sacha Coenen follows just 5 points behind Lucas Coenen.
