Keiheuvel Inters 250: Vialle finishes the job!
Once again Tom Vialle and Jago Geerts did not give each other an inch in the decisive second heat after they both made a good start. However, the reigning MX2 World Champion, Vialle, remained in control and claimed his second series victory of the day.
Vialle crossed the inside in the third corner and then controlled the race. Whatever Geerts, who was loudly encouraged by the audience, tried, he could not force a breakthrough. Behind both fighters, a driven Liam Everts made a big impression. Liamski held off Jed Beaton for a long time, but in the end his fourth place was enough to reach the final podium of the Joël Roelants Trophy.
Elzinga now beat Rene Hofer in the battle for fifth place. Just how fiercely Vialle was going was evident at the finish, as a total of only eight riders finished on the same lap.
