Herlings to victory without any problems!
The first round of the Latvian Grand Prix was dominated by Jeffrey Herlings. The 26-year-old rider had to deal with Jorge Prado in the first round, but after that no one could match 'The Bullet'! Tim Gajser comes second ahead of Antonio Cairoli, Prado and Romain Febvre.
Glenn Coldenhoff rides in fourth place for a long time but then drops back to seventh place. Brian Bogers takes tenth place, while Kevin Strijbos becomes the best Belgian. The Gebben Racing driver returns from the back field to 14th place ahead of teammate Brent Van doninck. Jeremy Van Horebeek takes three points while Lars van Berkel (22nd) fails to score and Calvin Vlaanderen fails to finish. The same applies to Thomas Kjer Olsen, where teammate Arminas Jasikonis decides not to start after a crash in training.
