Conrad Mewse the strongest in his own country
The fifth race of the REVO British Championship MX2 was won by Conrad Mewse. The 22-year-old rider won both heats ahead of Florian Miot. However, the Frenchman loses second place in the second heat due to outside help. This places Steven Clarke (3-4) second in the daily rankings ahead of Jamie Wainwright (7-3), who is normally active with another federation.
After the match just north-east of Ipswich, Mewse increased its lead to 49 points over Clarke. The championship continues in three weeks with the race at the Duns circuit.
