Beaton on pole, Geerts eighth for De Wolf
A surprise in Kegums because Jed Beaton starts today from pole position. The Husqvarna rider is normally not one for a fast lap, but now he is the fastest man. The second fastest time goes to Maxime Renaux, followed by compatriot Thibault Benistant. Jago Geerts is the best lowlander with an eighth fastest time, followed by Kay de Wolf. With only 22 riders it is a small starting field today.
Both heats later today, the first starts at 11.15am!
