Wilson and Marchbanks are no longer in action this season
Dean Wilson and Garrett Marchbanks' season comes to an early end. The Scot had to pull the 450MX cart alone on behalf of Husqvarna. He had been battling the Epstein-Barr virus, the causative agent of mononucleosis, for some time. The conditions are so tough that Wilson and the team have decided not to play in the last three games.
Marchbanks is also no longer in action, the ClubMX rider has been struck by Addison's disease. This is caused by a shortage of values in the blood, which affects kidney function. The condition is rare: 120 cases per million people!
Another driver that we are missing for the time being only for this weekend is Seth Hammaker. He injured himself last week and will not play as a precaution. Earlier this year he also missed matches, meaning he did not play a role in the championship.
