Jens Walvoort's season has come to an end
This is not Jens Walvoort's season. The Brabander was struck by a COVID-19 infection and the KTM rider was injured in Mol-Balen. In the early stages of the first heat, Walvoort crashed and his foot got stuck in the ground.
The damage is considerable because the tibia is broken and the anterior cruciate ligament is broken from the bone! Next Wednesday there will be an operation, after which there will be more clarity about the rehabilitation period.
