ADAC MX Masters 2021 Preview
The ADAC MX Masters calendar has also been adjusted several times in recent months. The wait is rewarded because German motocross fans can finally look forward to top-level events with an audience at the fence again!
The championship finally starts on the spectacular and legendary forest circuit of Bielstein. The Junior Cup 125cc is unfortunately absent, this is due to the second EMX125 race on Saturday in Maggiora. The crowd favorite Max Nagl (Husqvarna), who starts this championship as one of the favorites, is there. The GP winner will have to compete against reigning champion Jordi Tixier, multiple champion Dennis Ullrich, Tom Koch and Petar Petrov.
We see four riders from Belgium and they can all show great things. Jeremy Delince (KMP Honda), Cyril Genot (Sarholz), Nathan Renkens (NR83) and Cedric Grobben are the BMB riders in this class. Mike Bolink is the only Dutchman on the list of participants, but he may also be in action in Maggiora.
As reigning champion, Maximilian Spies is also the favorite for the ADAC Youngster Cup. He will have to compete against Liam Everts (Liamski-KTM), Rick Elzinga (TBS-KTM), Kjell Verbruggen (Sarholz) and Camden McLellan (BT Racing). On behalf of the Belgians, in addition to Everts, we also see Glenn Bielen in action. In addition to Elzinga and Verbruggen, the KNMV also has Rob van de Veerdonk, Sander Hofstede and Twan Wagenaar on the circuit. Raf Meuwissen and Christopher Mills were also added at the last minute.
It is difficult to pick a favorite in the ADAC Junior Cup 85cc, but we are looking forward to the performance of Janis Martins Reisulis. The Latvian won the first KNMV ONK at the Delfzijl circuit last weekend. In this class the 'duel' between Belgium and the Netherlands is fairly divided. Maxime Lucas and Jarno Bervoets take action on behalf of Belgium and the Netherlands can count on Gyan Doensen and Lotte van Drunen. Last year's champion, Bradley Mesters, has switched to the 125cc and that class will be in action from the next competition.
The entrance prices are very good! An event ticket for Saturday and Sunday costs only €24. The day ticket for Sunday is available for only €15. Children up to 10 years old have free admission, but due to the corona measures they still need an online ticket. Young people between 11 and 15 years old pay only €10.
