Mesters talks about his first EMX125 points
In Maggiora, Bradley Mesters took his first points in the European 125cc Championship. The Kawasaki rider finished 24th and 16th during the heats on the northern Italian circuit. Here, the Brabander immediately looks ahead to the points that need to be improved.
“It didn't go so well in the timed training, but fortunately I was able to narrowly qualify. Due to the 20th fastest time in my group I had to start on the outside during the heats. The first start was very good and I think I came out of the first corner in midfield. In the second corner I made a mistake which caused me to lose many places again. I came 24th but the riding was difficult. The second start was less good, but now I managed to get out of the second corner well. From 23rd place I was able to get into the points in the third laps. Then I managed to move up even further and crossed the finish line in sixteenth. Satisfied with the points but there are still things that need to be improved and that starts with qualifying.”
