It looks like Eurocircuit is here to stay
Politicians in Valkenswaard appear to be opting for the retention of the Eurocircuit. The ultimate decision will be made in two weeks. Meanwhile, emotions are running high. It looks like there is still a future for the Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard.
In the committee meeting on Thursday evening, the council factions still kept their cards close to their chest, but politics is strongly leaning towards one of the scenarios in which the sports complex continues to exist. In two weeks, on July 15, the council will make the decision.
'Corruption and conflict of interest'
The Municipal Executive was once again bombarded with questions on Thursday, because despite an extensive report that has been presented, there are still plenty of them. About rental and user agreements for buildings, about what is and is not allowed according to old permits. It is the result of many years of legal wrangling and political wrangling, especially over noise sports; the motorcycle and rally crossers.
