EMX250: Pole for Lapucci, Everts fastest in his group
A total of 76 riders fought for qualifying in the EXM250. Two-stroke sensation Nicholas Lapucci convincingly steered his Fantic to pole in the faster A group. With Kjell Verbruggen (photo below) and Rick Elzinga second and third within a second, the Dutch riders also underlined their ambitions in the first group.
The home crowd saw how Liam Everts set a fast time in the fourth round. Liamski was almost 0,6 seconds faster than Kevin Horgmo in group B. Sand specialist Florian Miot set the third fastest time in the same session.
The young Dave Kooiker and Marcel Conijn, fifth and sixth respectively, in the first group also left a good impression. Man in form Wesley Dieudonné narrowly managed to qualify in 20th. The first EMX250 race will start at 13:55 PM.
