For example, the VLM will organize their competitions in a corona-proof manner
On July 3 and 4, the motorcycle violence broke out again after a much too long interruption. The VLM starts their competition in Tessenderlo and of course there are corona rules. Everyone benefits from following these closely. That is why the board of the VLM sent the message below to the world.
No places can be demarcated in advance at rider parks and the distance rules must be respected. Standing next to each other means arriving at the event together. Everyone must also wear a face mask when traveling to and from the circuit and vice versa from the age of 12. Seated people and those in their own bubbles should not do this. Hand sanitisers will be provided both at the entrance to the site and at the drinking establishments.
Hand washers and hand gel will also be provided at the sanitary facilities and emergency medical services. The distance of one and a half meters must be respected around the circuit. If this cannot be guaranteed, people must wear their mouth mask. Catering measures apply to drinks and food. These can be consumed standing and/or sitting. If a party tent is installed, it will be opened on two sides (ventilation) and provided with an entrance and exit. A face mask must be worn when moving in the party tent. The ceremonies will be spread out as much as possible and outdoors if possible.
Let us all use common sense and not harm the restart of our beloved hobby. Help us in the fight against corona, and together we will overcome it.
- Participate while respecting your own comfort zone.
- Ensure good conditional preparation.
- Untrained candidate participants must take the time to prepare themselves calmly and in a responsible manner.
- Avoid large gatherings and try to actually keep the participants of the different classes separate.
- In these times it is not the intention to achieve top times/top performances.
- You will always have to wear your face mask at the ceremony and pick up your trophy yourself on stage.
- The message for the participants is also to let common sense prevail and to inform their supporters about the need to respect the measures.
