Spy shots of an electric Honda CRF
An evolution of the electric Honda dirt bike was quietly tested at the Sugo motocross circuit in Japan. The machine had previously been on display as a prototype at a trade fair in Tokyo. It looks like Honda and Mugen have done a lot of work on the machine.
During the fourth round of the Japanese championship, Honda released the machine for a small performance. There was no official announcement from the Japanese yet, but someone in Sugo secretly shot images of the electrically powered Honda. The engineers have apparently gone to work because if you compare the dirt bike with older images, a number of changes have been made. In the video you see the pilot doing some test laps and in between a small problem arises with the e-CRF. We are eagerly awaiting an official announcement from Honda.
