Justin Cooper on his victory in Lakewood
Last weekend, Justin Cooper won the second race of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The Yamaha rider finished second in both heats, but that was enough to win the day. Here Cooper talks about his third victory, his second at the Lakewood circuit.
“We finished where we wanted to finish today. The goal was to stand on the top step of the podium and we succeeded! It was a tough day but thanks to two holeshots I was able to start the matches well. We had some great fights and I had a great time. The circuit was very difficult at the end of the day and the heat made it very physically demanding. My day was a success and I am already looking forward to the next match.” Cooper said.
