First series of MX1: Seewer wins ahead of Herlings
Jeremy Seewer pushed his Monster Energy Yamaha hard at the start and entered the first lap as the leader. The Swiss was able to maintain this and won the series despite a fast emerging Jeffrey Herlings.
After a few laps it was teammates Seewer and Coldenhoff who led the field. Herlings had a mediocre start and came to the front without too much pressure. It took until a few laps before the end of the series for Herlings to really gain momentum. Suddenly he passed his compatriot Coldenhoff and then went looking for Seewer, but was just one lap short of getting into the wheel. Seewer wins the series ahead of Herlings and Febvre, who passed Coldenhoff at the last minute.
