Dean Gregoire wins World Cup qualification in Lelystad
Due to the lack of competitions, the KNMV organized a World Cup qualifying event last Saturday at the Lelystad circuit. Here riders could show their skills and also score points for the assessment. Later this month the KNMV ONK Youth will start in Delfzijl and those results will also be taken into account by the national coach. The event at the Lelystad circuit went well for Dean Gregoire who managed to score the maximum number of points.

In the timed training, Dean immediately shows why he came to this selection day. He sets the fastest time and earns him the first point of the day. Later, the Brabander wins both heats and subsequently records the best competition laps. The KTM rider ended this sunny day well with the full eight points. The FIM World Youth Championship will be held on July 31 and August 1 in Megalopolis, Greece.
