The VMCF about the start of the 2021 season
The current corona figures are moving in the right direction and that creates perspective for the future. The conditions imposed by the consultation committee will probably be met, allowing motocross to resume next month. The board of the VMCF therefore came together to streamline things.
This was decided:
If measures allow, the season will start on Sunday, July 4. The first match will take place in Genk, the following week we will be guests in Paal. The other organizers are still in discussions with the municipalities or are waiting for advice or their permit. We hope to be able to offer you a nice calendar.
Pilots who wish to compete must obtain their 2021 permit before July 1, 2021 and contact Martin Roels on 0478 48 26 37 (preferably call after 19 p.m.). The pilots who are entitled to an expense allowance will be paid in the tent on the day itself, 15 minutes after the series. No collection on the same day = no reimbursement of expenses! There will be no 2021 championship. There are also no IMBA competitions this year.
We also call on you to be vaccinated. Vaccination is the most important asset to put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us. To simply get together with friends again, go to a café or restaurant, practice our hobby... Do it not only for yourself, but also for each other, so that we can quickly get back to normal life.
