Russian rider debut for F&H Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team
We had to be patient for a while, but the FIM MX2 World Championship starts next weekend. This will be a Russian debut for F&H Kawasaki. During the highly anticipated first race of the 2021 MXGP season, the F&H Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team riders will be seen in their new livery for the first time. In Orlyonok, Russia, the F&H Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team will start with three young, strong and talented riders in the FIM Motocross MX2 World Championship, two of the three riders being the current 2018 and 2019 European EMX250 Champions.
The winter preparation went perfectly for Roan van de Moosdijk, Mikkel Haarup and Mathys Boisrame and they are eager to drive on the Orlyonok circuit. They are all extremely satisfied with the new 2021 KX250 and, together with team manager Nathalie Fase, are looking forward to a great season.
Mikkel Haarup commented: “I'm very excited to start the season. The team and I have done a great job over the winter and I feel like I am ready for whatever comes my way.”
Mathys Boisrame added: “I'm so happy that the 2021 season is starting now. We have worked a lot this winter on the physical side and on the new '21 engine. I can't wait to start the championship, this is my last season in 250 and I will give it my all!”
Roan van de Moosdijk stated: “The new riding gear and graphics on the bike are great and I am looking forward to a new MXGP season. We worked hard during the long winter break so I'm happy to finally get back on my bike and put our green machines back on the podium!”
Finally, Team Manager, Natalie Fase said: “Together with our riders we had a great winter during which we did a lot of testing with the new 2021 Kawasaki machines. The boys love the KX and are looking forward to the GPs. It took a while before the races could start; but after some good races in the preseason all our boys are ready for the first GP that starts on Sunday in Russia. We are looking forward to a good season together with Kawasaki and our riders. Rest assured, we will do everything we can to compete at the front!”
