Will Tomac move to Star Racing-Yamaha?
The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is over and then the musical chairs begin for 2022. Eli Tomac's contract with Kawasaki expires and the former champion is named to Yamaha! There he would become the teammate of Dylan Ferrandis and Christian Craig who made the switch to the toughest class.
Tomac's spot could be taken over by Jason Anderson. However, there are also rumors that Bobby Hewitt will return to the paddock. He is the founder of the current Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team (RER). Hewitt left the team last season but he would like to return to the driving quarters and preferably with Anderson and Dean Wilson.
Cooper Webb's contract runs for another season, Marvin Musquin's agreement expires this year. Will the Frenchman stay or will he turn his back on the sport? Musquin has ridden for KTM throughout his career in the USA! There would no longer be a place for Aaron Plessinger at Yamaha, he is mentioned at KTM, where Jorge Prado's name is also increasingly mentioned.
In addition to Adam Cianciarulo, Austin Forkner could join, after five seasons in the 250SX he would like to make the switch to the toughest class.
To be continued…..
