Team Pro Circuit-Kawasaki looks back on SLC2
With three riders in the top six, Team Pro Circuit-Monster Energy-Kawasaki ended the supercross season well. In the East-West Shootout, Cameron McAdoo finished fourth ahead of Seth Hammaker and Jo Shimoda. The Japanese was the best in the final standings, he came second in the 'EastCoast'. Here the trio looks back on Salt Lake City 2.
Cameron McAdoo:
“It's been a crazy year full of so many emotions. I haven't been able to ride much the past two weeks. I focused on my rehabilitation to get through this last competition well and be ready for Nationals. With this in mind I can look back on a decent evening. I am so grateful to everyone who helped me this year. It was a memorable year with the first victory and the hunt for the championship. I can't wait to take what we've learned and fight for the title again next year.”
Seth Hammaker:
“I'm super happy to be awarded as the rookie of the year! It means a lot to me and I have worked hard this season. I'm glad it paid off. It has been a great season and I can say that I have learned a lot. Whether it was good or bad, I will take my experience with me next year to fight for the title.”
Jo Shimoda:
“It was a great season for me. I took my very first podium and was later able to take my first victory. I am so grateful to the team for giving me this opportunity. I arrived a little later in the preseason but that was no problem at all! I can't wait to make the transition to the outdoors.”
