MX1 Uddevalla: Alvin Östlund for Anton Gole
Swedish championship leader Anton Gole (Motostar Husqvarna) received strong resistance from Alvin Östlund (JK Racing Yamaha) in the second MX1 round. The Swede in Italian service was second in the opener but takes the overall thanks to his success in series 2.
Of course, the difficult condition of the track played a role, but MXGP rookie Östlund did put the finishing touches. The ex-Kemea Yamaha rider won series two with almost 25 seconds ahead of Gole.
Notable absentees, neither Thomas-Kjer Olsen nor Vsevolod Brylyakov, took office today. Both riders hurt themselves yesterday in Uddevalla.
