Milestone for birthday boy Remy van Rees
Today Remy van Rees celebrates his 50th birthday, the South Hollander sees Abraham and that deserves extra attention! We must take a moment to reflect on the career of 'Van Race', who can call himself a single GP winner. Van Rees won the 1999 British Grand Prix on the very muddy Foxhill circuit. Van Rees won the KNMV Open Dutch Championship (now Dutch Masters of Motocross) three times, won the Dutch Supermoto title once and won the ONK Enduro.
In 1992, the Kawasaki made a name for itself for the first time, winning the Veronica Beach Race on the beach of Hoek van Holland that year. We wish the five-time GP round winner a happy birthday!
