Here are the 2022 KTM motocross bikes
The most complete and technologically advanced range of motocross and supercross machines is now available. The updated KTM SX range includes models for every type of competition and is ready to introduce the championship experience to riders everywhere.
After decades of seamless information exchange between racing teams and KTM's production line, the KTM SX series for model year 2022 is more connected than ever to the title-winning motorcycles. The new models have been developed on the track and meet KTM's demanding performance criteria. In their updated 2022 liveries, these motorcycles set the new standard for motocross and supercross competition worldwide. The KTM SX-F model line is built for those who know the importance of good technology and is therefore the choice of winners. The 2022 four-stroke range includes three models that benefit from KTM's significant growth in this segment, including the latest WP XACT suspension technology and advanced technical solutions such as Traction Control, Launch Control, variable engine settings and reliable starters.
The KTM 450 SX-F for model year 2022 is the pinnacle of advanced engine technology: an extremely compact unit that produces an unparalleled 63 hp as effectively as possible. The KTM 250 SX-F offers unprecedented speed in a class that pushes the boundaries and the KTM 350 SX-F is an ideal mix between the agility of the 250 and even more engine power. The new two-stroke series includes three different models for novice and experienced riders, each building on a long line of winners within their class. The KTM 125 SX is a further development of the motorcycle that captured 7 of the 12 top places in the 125 EMX2020 European Championship. In the new 2022 livery, the KTM 150 SX is ready to take on powerful 250 four-strokes, while the KTM 250 SX is a two-stroke powerhouse with the same light riding feel.
All major KTM SX models for model year 2022 have a frame finished in racing orange, to underline the relationship with the championship-winning machines of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing top athletes. The updated frame matches perfectly with the new blue seat cover and the fresh colors in the designs, further emphasizing the close bond with the KTM Factory machines.
The 2022 KTM SX range is complemented by a number of sports minicycles, which share the same race-oriented design approach as KTM's big motocross bikes. Junior riders mounting the KTM 50 SX, KTM 65 SX or KTM SX 85 can count on class-leading performance thanks to, among other things, the advanced WP suspension, high-quality brakes and light weight. For tech enthusiasts, the wheels can even start turning with the 5 KTM SX-E 2022, the latest version of a high-end electric mini-cross bike that can grow with its young rider.
Joachim Sauer – KTM Product Manager Offroad: “The new SX Series is all about the close relationship with our racing machines and motorcycles that perform on circuits worldwide. We've been working on these engines for years and we feel that that relationship, both in design and performance, is now closer than ever. To prove this, we gave production motorcycles to MXGP and MX2 world champions and they were happily surprised and impressed by the performance delivered. It was therefore appropriate to give the 2022 models an even more racing look with a blue/orange design, to remind riders and fans that no motocross series is READY TO RACE anymore.”
The KTM SX models for model year 2022 will be available from authorized KTM dealers from May 2021.
