Flying start for Jeffrey Herlings in Lyng!
Jeffrey Herlings wasted no time in his first match in eight months. In the first moto, the Red Bull KTM rider had to leave the victory to Yamaha rookie Ben Watson. In the second heat the poleman put things in order by taking the victory. Yet the 23-year-old Watson impressed again, the difference with winner Herlings at the finish was barely 0,7 seconds!
The podium was completed by Tommy Searle, the Honda rider finished fifth and third during the heats watched by around 4.000 spectators. A disappointment for Evgeny Bobryshev, the Russian came into this match as a leader but was unable to score due to a shoulder injury.
