New Bell Moto 10 Spherical sets new standards!
Meanwhile, it has been 10 years since Bell launched the iconic Moto-10 helmet with James Stewart. Now Bell is entering a new era with the super advanced Bell Moto 10 Spherical, which goes even further than the previous flagship, the Moto 9 Flex. A limited edition of the Moto 10 is available for purchase from today.
For many years, the American Bell has been one of the references in the top segment for MX and off-road helmets. When the helmet sponsor of Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac, Dylan Ferrandis and the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna MX2 team comes out with news, you can be assured that it will be big!
The Moto-10 is Bell's most technically advanced helmet ever. Although it also comes with a hefty price tag. The new Bell Moto 10 Spherical LE costs €899
The Bell Moto-10 in a nutshell
- Designed to absorb linear energy
- But especially to protect the head during medium and high speed rotational forces
- The first off-road helmet Spherical™ technology developed in collaboration with the Swedish research agency behind MIPS
The Spherical technology should reduce residual shock waves while minimizing transmission to the brain. - Reduced weight without compromising protective qualities
- Outer shell made of 3K carbon that is very shock-absorbent and allows a lot of ventilation thanks to spherical channels
- Even more airflow optimization through the Thermal Exchange Airflow System™ (T.E.A.S.). The air is sucked into the helmet and then expelled through the side and rear extractors.
- NMR side bumpers. Two NMR (No Missed Races) bumpers on either side of the helmet, made of expanded polypropylene foam, compress under load and then return to their original shape. This reduces injuries caused by the helmet (such as broken collarbones).
- Like previous models, the Moto-10 has a Flying Bridge™ type visor with two mounting points. This provides flexibility while improving airflow through the helmet. The two closures allow the visor to absorb shock and rise when necessary. On the other hand, the visor improves the airflow around the helmet, by directing the flows to one of the four upper entry points of the helmet.
- Interior with Virus CoolJade fabric. The Moto-10 benefits from foam covered with a fabric made by Virus and using CoolJade technology. This fabric absorbs moisture excellently and keeps the helmet clean for longer. In addition, CoolJade provides a feeling of coolness, which is particularly effective in hot weather.
- More space for glasses. The Moto-10 is suitable for the largest glasses on the market. Designed for a perfect fit.
