Lupino and Fernandez win in Mantova
The second race for the Italian championship was held today in Mantova. Fernandez won both series in MX2 while Alessandro Lupino took the day's victory thanks to a second and first place.
Ruben Fernandez is doing well in this championship as he kept speed drivers Kevin Horgmo and Nicholas Lapucci behind him. Fernandez is also the championship leader ahead of Horgmo and Lapucci. In the MX1 class, good old Tanel Leok and Alessandro Lupino each won a series. Lupino won the match thanks to the better second series. Veteran David Philippaerts finished third in the final standings. Lupino is the interim leader in the Italian championship ahead of Philippaerts. The Motocross of Nations will be held on the same circuit at the end of September.
