Back injury for Stephen Rubini
MX2 rider Stephen Rubini (Assomotor-RedMoto-Honda) was training last week fallen. He broke a cervical vertebra and damaged the intervertebral disc between C6 and C7.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has already gone under the knife and a long rehabilitation awaits him. It is not yet clear how long he will be out of action. In 2019, Rubini became vice-champion in the EMX250, after Roan van de Moosdijk. Last year Rubini was the best Honda rider in the MX2 World Championship. He then finished 10th in the final standings.
