New look for the Gaerne SG-12 boots
Gaerne has been a strong brand in motocross boots for many years. Gaerne's showpiece is the SG-12 and it now gets a new look. It is now also available in the Gray Magnesium White color. The price of this boot is €549. Look at the new features here.
Dual Stage Pivot System — This revolutionary new system is patented and exclusive to Gaerne and is sure to be a hit. The first pivot is attached to the “Razorback”. This creates a rigid part that provides strong lateral support while a glide-plate keeps the top part in a sturdy and upright position. The second pivot is mounted on a slider that gives the rider's foot a natural feel on the footpegs when shifting or braking. However, it will absorb shock in the event of too high a jump or in the event of unwanted compression.
Grip Guard — The completely new rubber “Grip Guard” is located on the inside of the boot. You will feel the exceptional grip and it also offers heat-resistant padding against your inner leg.
Front plate/shin guard — This new thermoplastic shin guard is anatomically shaped for a perfect fit. By removing three screws, a rider can also widen the opening to accommodate a larger leg or knee brace.
Closure system — The SG-12 uses four lightweight buckles that attach to an adjustable strap. This is a “proven” system that offers the rider “Easy in” and “Easy out” non-failure system. Keeping it simple!
piper — Made from a new Swiss breathable fabric called Acronos, the gaiter is very stretchy, but has the perfect shape to keep the sand and dirt out.
Inner lining — On the inside you will find the famous “Gaerne Memory Cell Foam” – known for the most comfortable feel and fit ride after ride.
Heel Cup — The new heel cup is designed to absorb shock in the event of a posterior compression. It also serves as a great place to showcase the new “G” logo!
Toe-Box — This new design features a slimmer shape in the toe area for a better feel of the gear lever and engine controls. The entire area is wrapped in a new plastic material that is lighter and provides more comfort and feeling for the motorcycle.
Toe cap — The completely new shaped toecap has been designed and reinforced to give a new “tougher” look.
Zool — For the SG-12 you will discover a new design. This sole is new in look, but still uses the Gaerne “Dual Composite” anti-shock rubber that has made Gaerne soles world famous.
Insole — Inside the boot you will find a completely new footbed that is specially shaped to properly support the foot. A new shock-absorbing material has been used in the rear part of the footbed. And in the front part the construction is made in such a way that the foot can ventilate.
Gaerne Supercross Shaft — This is the best shaft money can buy and is both lighter and stronger.
