Lapucci, Coldenhoff and Olsen take the win in Alghero
The second race of the Internazionali d'Italia Motocross was also held on the island of Sardinia. At the Alghero circuit, Nicholas Lapucci (MX2), Glenn Coldenhoff (MX1) and ?? (Elite) to take the victories. With his Fantic, Lapucci (photo) managed to train the fastest and subsequently won the first heat. Andrea Bonacorsi makes his debut for Hutten Metaal Yamaha, the Italian comes second ahead of Tim Edberg. Jago Geerts crashes in the first corner and ends up sixth. Dave Kooiker crosses the finish line in 24th place. In the MX1 Coldenhoff wins ahead of Thomas Kjer Olsen and Ben Watson. The SuperFinale goes to Kjer Olsen ahead of Romain Febvre and Coldenhoff. Geerts crosses the finish line in tenth place, making him the second MX2 rider, just behind Kevin Horgmo.
