Bogers dominates opening round of Spanish championship!
With a pole position and two very convincing series victories, Brian Bogers (Standing Construct GasGas Factory Racing) made it clear that he was a size too strong for the competition. Bogers shared the podium with Antonio Butron (3-2) and Ander Valentin (2-3).
During the qualifying race on Saturday, Valentin and Butron were still able to hold on quite well. After all, they crossed the lake 3 and 4,9 seconds respectively from Bogers. Today Bogers was way too strong in both heats. He led from start to finish and held more than 18 seconds ahead of Butron in the second race.
Reigning MX1 champion Nil Arcarons had a bad day (4-5), the Ausio Yamaha rider had to settle for 4th place. Veteran Carlos Campano finished fifth.
