Rutger Baauw on a JH-GasGas
After his serious back injury in 2019, Sven van der Mierden worked very calmly on his recovery. The Brabander already knew in advance that he would not take action in 2020. Due to the coronavirus, no one actually took much action. Van der Mierden was previously confirmed by the ATG JHMX GasGas Racing team 2021. Now 20-year-old Rutger Baauw will be added, who will ride the KNMV ONK in the 250cc class combined with the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross. Both drivers are looking forward to the coming season, which hopefully won't take too long.
Sven van der Mierden's response: ''After my back injury I didn't know what my future would look like. Contact was soon made with JHMX Service and we started building towards my old level. What we have done so far is going fantastically well and it gives me a lot of confidence to be active within this team. Everything is handled in a good way and that is important for me to be able to return to the competitions in a positive way this year."
Rutger Baauw's response: "I am very happy with this opportunity that the ATG JHMX GasGas Racing team is giving me. I'm going to grab it with both hands and get the most out of myself. I am looking forward to participating on the GasGas motorcycle in the ONK250 and the Dutch Masters of Motocross. The goal is to qualify for all competitions. I would like to thank everyone who made this opportunity possible.”
