Parts Europe will distribute Intense E-MTBs
Parts Europe, the well-known wholesaler of motorcycle parts, will now distribute the electric mountain bikes of the Intense brand. They will become the exclusive distributor of the Tazer MX PRO eMTB throughout Europe through a partnership with Intense Europe.
The new partnership builds on an existing collaboration between Intense and parent company LeMans Corporation/Parts Unlimited in North America. Parts Europe will offer this new high-end eMTB exclusively to a select number of off-road dealers who want to enter the eMTB world, and to motorcycle dealers who already work with e-bikes. Anthony Damevin, Purchasing Manager of Parts Europe explains: “We are committed to providing participating dealers with the same reliable service they have experienced in the motorcycle sector."
Intense's roots lie deep in the world of mountain biking, but they have also been influenced by the motocross scene from the beginning. In fact, Intense founder and CEO Jeff Steber's original designs in the early 1990s were heavily influenced by his knowledge and love of MX motorcycles. Well-known names such as Mike Metzger, Jeff Emig and Shaun Palmer were part of Intense's history in the early days. Aaron Gwin also recently joined the Intense Factory Racing team. The now multiple MTB World Cup winner rode MX in the US in his early years. Intense is partly owned by four-time Supercross and three-time Motocross National Champion Ryan Dungey.
The pedal-assisted Tazer MX PRO is based on the 155mm suspension travel Tazer eBike. What sets the MX model apart, however, is the MX-inspired parts package that is easily recognizable to any MX fan. The Tazer MX PRO includes products from Öhlins, Renthal, Magura and ODI… all big names in the MX world. All this is complemented by Shimano's new EP8 motor and drivetrain, and other top-end components. The Öhlins TTX 22 M shock absorber and the DH38 with 170mm suspension travel complete the look of the MX.
