Technology: improve the handling of a KTM 450 SX-F
Without a doubt, the level of a standard KTM is already very high, but everything can be improved. The American company Ride Engineering from Costa Mesa, California provides a number of tips to improve the driving characteristics with small tweaks. The approach is that KTM has made their frame a bit stiffer from model year 2019.
By replacing a number of parts you create a little more flex and therefore a little more comfort. For example, triple clamps and the link system are adjusted, but the air fork also gets a slightly different adjustment. The standard handlebar was replaced by one from Protaper. The gear ratio was adjusted slightly to make the incoming power a little less brutal.
