SCOTT Limited Edition Prospect Pro Circuit 30 Years
To start 2021 off strongly, SCOTT is releasing a limited edition SCOTT x Pro Circuit to celebrate three decades of successful collaboration with the Californian team. With more than 275 victories in 31 seasons, the partnership has proven to be fruitful and has contributed to a strong and lasting relationship that has remained intact in both the strongest and most difficult moments.
Mitch Payton, owner of the Pro Circuit team: “Throughout the season you always hear riders complain about problems with their motocross goggles, but we have never had that happen at SCOTT. It's about the only thing I've never had to worry about. I also thank SCOTT for that, we have been together for 30 years and we continue! »
The Prospect frame, launched in 2018, was developed not only to offer more comfort and functionality, but above all to claim the largest field of view on the market. For the Pro Circuit 30 Years limited edition, the color scheme was based on the Pro Circuit debut, namely yellow and blue with a retro SCOTT logo and a specific emblem on the headband.
About the Prospect frame.
The Prospect benefits from a larger field of view thanks to an optimized framework architecture that includes a larger screen height and a lowered nose notch. On the other hand, the frame became finer, because the closer the lens is to the eyes, the larger the field of view, thanks to optimal peripheral vision achieved by the curved screen. The lens is new and 1 mm thicker, with the 4 mounting points as a specific feature. They run through the lens, which prevents it from coming loose in the event of a fall. The 4 notches for anchoring also make changing easier.
The Prospect frame also has adjustable mounts for the elastic headband. They provide uniform support by adapting to the shape of the helmet. The new triple layer of facial foam (two layers + a “NoSweat” anti-perspirant layer) provides more comfort, the “NoSweat” microfiber outer layer absorbs moisture faster and prevents sweat from entering the mask. The Prospect is compatible with the WORKS Roll-off system, a click-on mounting system that allows the roll to be quickly attached to the notches without tools.
