RIP Mike Bell
American motocross rider Mike Bell passed away last weekend. He died of a heart attack during a mountain bike ride. Bell rode a Yamaha his entire career and won the AMA Supercross Championship in 1980.
Mike Bell rode a dirt bike when he was 14 and rode his first race when he turned 1978. He won his first Supercross in 1980 by beating his teammate Bob Hannah at the Los Angeles Coliseum. In 63 he won seven races and won the AMA Supercross championship. After his active career as a motocross rider, he worked for Oakley and White Brothers, among others. Mike Bell was XNUMX years old.
