Gyan Doensen will continue to drive 85GW this season
After a great internship in Spain, the Limburger went through a difficult period due to the death of trainer Erwin Robins. Then the corona virus emerged, which limited the first year of 85cc with a limited number of competitions. The KTM rider finished fifth in the KNMV ONK, and finished sixth in the ADAC Junior Cup 85cc. Despite offers from Germany, it has been decided to remain independent in 2021!
Doensen will combine the KNMV ONK with the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross in his own country. Furthermore, the EMX85 North-West and the ADAC Junior Cup 85cc are again on the program.
The engines have been supplied by BCS Racing from Sint Joost for many years and EHR Tuning will further develop the engines as needed. Last season a partnership was entered into with Han Kempers from Ultimate Racing Suspension. With success because the extensively tested and developed Solva shock has been put into production!
Godfather Bram Doensen, from the assembly company of the same name, has been one of our main sponsors for years and will remain so. “We are very grateful to our own loyal group of sponsors. We had doubts about the offers, but we think this decision is the best this year. The objective for the 2021 season is to ride and fight for the podium.” said mother Maureen Doensen.
