VIDEO: the year 2020 in MXGP and MX2
It is a certainty that we will not soon forget 2020. The coronavirus turned almost everything upside down worldwide, not least the sports calendars. Infront Moto Racing was forced to select a number of so-called “triple GPs” in order to maintain an orderly GP season.
They succeeded wonderfully in this, resulting in two world champions being celebrated in Trentino. In the MX2 class, Tom Vialle became world champion and held off a strong driving Jago Geerts. The Frenchman was helped a lot by a number of falls from our compatriot who showed that he has the speed. In the MXGP class, Slovenian Tim Gajser was able to win his fourth world title. He was very regular and almost flawless this year and the same could not be said of his competitors.
In the video you see both categories summarized in a 52-minute summary. Below the video you can see the final standings of the MXGP and MX2 World Championships.
