Update of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross calendar
A new Supercross season starts in the US on January 16. The coronavirus will again influence the execution because the calendar will mainly consist of triple races compressed into one week and at the same location.
The first race of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season kicks off on Saturday, January 16 and will not be held in California for the first time in twenty-five years. No traditional start in Anaheim next year! In 2021, the opener will be held in Houston, Texas and it will be the start of a triptych of races within the same NRG Stadium. These races will take place on Saturday, Tuesday and again Saturday.
The 14th, 15th and 16thde competition has yet to be determined. However, FELD Entertainment plans to host those races in Salt Lake City, Utah, on a date yet to be determined. Next year the public will be allowed but with a limited capacity.
