The MXGP 2020 video game is out!
Infront Moto Racing and Milestone announced the release of MXGP 2020 earlier today. It's a new chapter of the official FIM Motocross World Championship video game for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows PC®/STEAM. The PlayStation®5 release will be released on January 14, 2021.
MXGP 2020 is the only game where players can fully experience the excitement of the current MXGP season. They will compete with 68 riders from both the MXGP and MX2 categories on the 19 circuits of the 2020 season. Starting as rookies, players can choose their path to the top: join an official team or create their own.
Are official MXGP circuits not enough? The Track Editor* will be back soon with some great features added. Thanks to the new Heightmaps feature, players can recreate the real MX circuits, adding realism and all the challenges. There will be 4 different terrain types that players can choose and customize – Plain, Quarry, Orchard and Forest – to create the track of their dream. Any new jobs created can be shared with friends online.
MXGP 2020 sees the return of one of the most beloved features, the Playground. Players can test their driving skills in the new environment inspired by the Norwegian fjords, and this year they can also ride freely with other 3 friends*. The MXGP 2020 multiplayer mode is expanded with dedicated servers for a lag-free gaming experience and the Race Director mode to create great online tournaments, determine starting positions, award penalties or choose the cameras to focus on.
And last but not least: the MXGP 2020 makes every rider unique, with more than 10.000 items from more than 110 brands from the motocross world. Not just cosmetic modifications: the engine's performance can also be improved with real life replicas of various engine parts.
