Tom Vialle wins the first round and the world title!
Despite his penalty during qualifying, Tom Vialle won the first round of the seventeenth GP of the season. The KTM rider got off to a great start and picked up his 20th FOX Holeshot Award of the season. Then he rode a lonely race in which he secured his first world title! Jed Beaton came second ahead of Maxime Renaux, Ben Watson and Jago Geerts. Roan van de Moosdijk crashes at the exit of the second corner, the Kawasaki rider returns to ninth place. Bas Vaessen crosses the finish line in 16th and Nathen Renkens takes a point by crossing the finish line in 20th.
