Jonny Walker and KTM part ways.
After eight seasons of intensive cooperation, the agreement between Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Enduro legend Jonny Walker comes to an end. The message was sent to the world today via a press release from KTM.
KTM confirms the departure of Jonny Walker from the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team by mutual agreement. Due to restructuring within the team, coupled with changes made to the enduro program in recent seasons, KTM has been unable to retain Jonny's services for 2021.
Jonny started his Enduro campaign aboard KTM machines in 2010. As a then 19-year-old he worked his way up the ranks in Endurosport and won the famous Erzbergrodeo in both 2012 and 2013. In 2015 he was very strong and successively won The Tough One, Red Bull Romaniacs, Red Bull Hare Scramble, Hell's Gate and the Red Bull 111 Megawatt. The sympathetic Briton subsequently won many podium places in the extreme enduro races and the WESS championship. It is not yet known what Walker's future plans are.
