Jago Geerts is prescribed rest
Jago Geerts injured his shoulder during a fall in the final MX2 round in Arco di Trento. The first examinations in Italy already indicated a fracture in the shoulder head. Today the Monster Energy Yamaha rider was further examined in Herentals.
All in all, the diagnosis is not too bad. “Some cracks in the shoulder head of my left arm. That is the verdict after a visit to my specialist in Belgium,” Jago explains on Instagram.
“There will now be 4 weeks of rest to allow the injury to heal naturally. Only after a check-up can I start exercises under the guidance of my physiotherapist to loosen everything up and make it stronger. This injury will heal and my hunger to start preparing for a new season will be greater than ever before!”
