Crossers can continue to accelerate in Lierop!
The times when men like Jeffrey Herlings and Glenn Coldenhoff rushed through the Lierop sand are far in the past. Holding a Grand Prix has not been allowed on the circuit in the Herselse Bossen for a long time. But it is not necessary to stop racing completely, says the highest court. Local residents lost their appeal to the Council of State on Wednesday in which they wanted to force the municipality to take action against the motocross riders who still ride their laps. And so motocross club MAC Lierop is allowed to hold national competitions three to four times a year and members can train twice a week. Three weeks before a match, non-members are also allowed to warm up.
