Leerkes makes the transition to the toughest class
In 2021, Nick Leerkes will switch to the toughest class. The 24-year-old rider finished fifth this year in the KNMV Open Dutch Championship 250cc. The Apeldoorn-born rider will not make the switch to the 500cc with Lakerveld Racing, for which he has been active in recent years. Leerkes will play for a new team, the final details of which are currently being worked out.
