Watson wins again, Geerts only 13th!
In a rainy Lommel, Ben Watson has booked his second Grand Prix round victory. The 23-year-old Briton won ahead of Maxime Renaux and Tom Vialle. The KTM rider is doing well in the title battle because Jago Geerts crashes twice and does not get further than thirteenth place. The debut of Thibault Benistant is striking, the Hutten Metaal Yamaha rider finished fourth ahead of Thomas Kjer Olsen and Roan van de Moosdijk, who is therefore the best Laaglander. Cyril Genot does well with tenth place ahead of Bas Vaessen. Nathan Renkens crosses the finish line in fifteenth and fellow countryman Jordi Van Mieghem crosses the finish line in 22nd.
