Vettik wins the first round, Valk fourth!
In a muddy Mantova, Meivo Vettik won the first heat during the fifth race of the European 125cc Championship. The Estonian managed to take over the lead in the final phase from Bobby Bruce, who crashed a little later. Vettik wins ahead of Valerio Lata and Max Palsson. Cas Valk scored very well with a fourth place! Pietro Razzini is fifth. Andrea Bonacorsi does not score well in twelfth place, but because Guillem Farres takes points, the Fantic rider is doing well in the standings!
